Malik Nabers ADP 9

Nabers has been nursing a toe injury that dates back to college. It also hampered him towards the end of the regular season last year. Nabers admitted to reporters that the possibility of having surgery on his toe sometime in his career has been “up in the air,” meaning it’s possible, but he hasn’t seriously considered it. The Giants have taken a cautious approach with Nabers in the offseason, keeping him out of numerous practices and not suiting him up for any preseason games. At his current ADP and with the uncertainty at the QB position, Nabers is someone we are avoiding.

Tyreek Hill ADP 27.5

Hill suffered a wrist injury during a joint practice with the Washington Commanders in August 2024 but opted to play through the 2024 season despite medical advice recommending season-ending surgery. The injury noticeably impacted his performance. Hill flirted with career-low season totals with 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns. Hill delayed treatment until the offseason. In February 2025, he underwent surgery to repair ligament damage in the wrist, followed by a second procedure in May to remove the screws from the initial operation, a planned step in his recovery. Hill’s production could suffer due to his wrist injury, and if Tua Tagovailoa misses any time, his numbers could drop significantly.

Rashee Rice ADP 48.5

Rice is coming off a significant left knee injury last year, a torn MCL and hamstring tendon, which ended his season in Week 4. Recent video coming from Chiefs training camp revealed to our team of doctors that he is visibly favoring his left knee. Rice is also scheduled for a disciplinary hearing with the NFL on September 30th. This hearing will address his potential punishment under the league's personal conduct policy following his involvement in a multi-car crash in Dallas last year. The timing of the hearing means Rice is likely to be eligible to play in the Chiefs' first four games of the regular season, with any potential suspension taking effect after the hearing. While Rice remains a superior athlete and a top receiver, the betting and fantasy implications remain shaky. Early in the season, monitor “Under” picks for his yards receiving and TDs, and we do not see him as a reliable WR1 for fantasy with a SIC Score in the low 80s.

Joe Mixon ADP 58

Joe Mixon’s injury situation has raised questions, particularly with his placement on the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list. Typically, players cannot reach full NFL shape by relying only on organized team activities (OTAs), which are limited in scope, so additional independent workouts are essential. Penalizing players for training outside team activities with an NFI designation could create unrest in the locker room, which makes Mixon’s case unusual. The specifics remain unclear, but possible explanations include a workout-related injury, lingering issues from last season, complications from treatment, an injury sustained outside of football activities, or a delay in reporting the injury. Until more information is revealed, expectations for Mixon should be tempered, as uncertainty continues to surround his availability heading into the season.

Chris Olave ADP 72.5

Chris Olave enters the 2025 season healthy after missing most of 2024 with multiple concussions. He suffered two concussions last year, including one severe incident on November 3 that kept him out for the final eight games but was cleared in December. Olave enters the 2025 season as our biggest concern for all fantasy players. Due to his concussion history, if he sustains another, he would be out 4+ weeks, and it could be career-threatening. He will have a yellow SIC Score entering the season.

Chris Godwin ADP 77

Chris Godwin enters the 2025 season rehabbing from a dislocated left ankle sustained in Week 7 of the 2024 season. He underwent surgery and missed all voluntary OTAs, then returned to the sidelines at mandatory minicamp, working only inside while trainers assess his progress. Godwin was placed on the active/PUP. He reportedly underwent a minor cleanup procedure this spring and is said to be “doing well.” He can be activated at any time once cleared. As of the final week of the preseason, he has not been observed jogging, cutting, or running routes, indicating he is still in rehabilitation and not participating in team drills.
