Nabers is listed as questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Cowboys as he completes his recovery from last season's ACL tear, the Giants wide receiver was a full participant in all three practices this week but has yet to commit to playing, leaving his Week 1 status likely to be determined closer to kickoff

Nabers took seven live reps in a red no-contact jersey for his first team-drill work since tearing his ACL last September, head coach John Harbaugh said the wide receiver could shed the red jersey and progress to contact work this week as he continues toward a full return

Recovering from a torn right ACL and meniscus injury that ended his 2025 season and required surgery, Nabers also underwent a follow-up procedure this offseason to remove scar tissue affecting knee flexibility. He avoided the PUP list and is expected to participate in training camp, but his ability to regain full range of motion, explosiveness, and pre-injury form will be closely monitored given the complexity of his recovery.

A right ACL tear was confirmed via MRI on Monday morning and his season is concluded, he will focus on getting back to full health in time for the 2026 season

In addition to the toe injury that will likely linger throughout the season, Nabers is currently working through a back injury that has kept him out of practice for 11 straight days, it's not characterized as serious by the Giants, but it is concerning given Nabers overall health in his young career

Nabers is currently nursing a toe injury that dates back to college for Nabers, it hampered him towards the end of the regular season last year as well, was on the team’s injury report a few times his rookie year with a concussion in Week 5, as well as hip and groin injuries at various points, but overall had a productive rookie season catching 109 passes for 1204 yards and 7 touchdowns amid uncertainty at the quarterback position. The toe injury is most concerning. Nabers is participating at the start of camp but admitted to reporters that the possibility of having surgery on his toe sometime in his career has been “up in the air,” meaning it’s possible but he hasn’t seriously considered it.

Limited in OTAs with a toe injury, and being sidelined in June does elicit some concern for his output in the upcoming season, especially for a speedy WR like Nabers
