Christian McCaffrey Health, Injury Updates & History

The multi faceted running back has been dealing with a variety of injuries over the last couple of seasons. McCaffrey suffered shoulder and thigh injuries in 2020 and hamstring and ankle injuries throughout 2021. Last season he finally was able to play at full potential without any nagging injuries. He did have a right calf strain before the NFC championship game but has had ample time to rehab over this offseason. Our panel of doctors do not believe certain players are “injury prone.”
