Teddy Bridgewater Injury: Dolphins QB Leaves For Concussion Evaluation
2 min read • October 09, 2022
Miami Dolphins backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater exited in the first quarter against the Jets after taking a hit from Jets cornerback Ahmad Gardner.
By video, Bridgewater appeared to hit his head on the turf on the safety. He is reportedly being evaluated for a concussion and an elbow injury.
Bridgewater was checked in the injury tent, then went to the locker room with the unaffiliated neurologic consultant.
Given the heightened attention with the Dolphins handling of Tua Tagovailoa's concussion, do not expect Bridgewater back in the ballgame.
Skylar Thompson is in at quarterback for Miami.
