Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is headed to injured reserve after suffering a new right ankle injury during Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Head coach Mike LaFleur confirmed Monday that the injury affects a different portion of the ankle than Love's previous injuries.
"It's a new portion of the ankle," LaFleur said. "So, I'll keep it at that."
Love previously injured his right ankle during the preseason and missed two games earlier this season with a left ankle injury.
The Cardinals have not disclosed the specific diagnosis or severity of Love's latest injury. His placement on injured reserve will require him to miss at least four games.
