NFL Week 3 brings several significant quarterback injuries for fantasy football managers to monitor, led by Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee injury and questions surrounding Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels.

Sam Darnold is also working his way back from a hip injury, while Kyler Murray has been cleared to return from a concussion.

Here are the latest injury updates, return timelines and Week 3 fantasy outlooks for the NFL quarterbacks dealing with injuries.

Jaxson Dart, Giants - Left Knee

Dart is expected to undergo season-ending surgery after suffering damage to his MCL, PCL, and meniscus in Week 2 against the Rams. His ACL is intact, and he is expected to make a full recovery. Read more on Dart HERE

For now, Jameis Winston will start for the Giants. Winston struggled after replacing Dart on Monday night, completing 11 of 27 passes for 111 yards with an interception in the 28-6 loss. He also started two games in place of Dart last season, both one-score losses. Dart's absence could also impact New York's skill players after Malik Nabers finished Monday with one catch and Cam Skattebo had 36 yards on 12 carries.

Jayden Daniels, Commanders - Left Elbow

Daniels has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Seahawks after dislocating his left elbow for the second time in less than a year. He is seeing another specialist, and head coach Dan Quinn said the Commanders will wait for additional information before establishing a return timeline. Read more on Daniels HERE

Marcus Mariota will start for Washington while Daniels is out. Last season, Mariota started eight games for Washington, going 2-6 while finishing with 1,695 passing yards and 11 total touchdowns.

Caleb Williams, Bears - Right Hamstring

Williams is dealing with a Grade 1 right hamstring strain after exiting Week 2 against the Vikings. An MRI showed no major structural damage, and while head coach Ben Johnson considers Williams week-to-week, he has not been ruled out for Week 3 against the Eagles. Read more on Williams HERE

Although the Bears have not ruled out Williams, he is widely expected to miss Monday's game. Tyson Bagent was scheduled to start but entered the NFL's concussion protocol. If Bagent is not cleared, Case Keenum will start. Keenum is 38 years old and has not appeared in a game since 2023.

Sam Darnold, Seahawks - Glute

Darnold returned to practice Wednesday as he works back from the glute/hip injury he suffered in Week 1. Testing revealed no structural damage, but the soft-tissue injury kept him out of Week 2 against the Cardinals. He now has a chance to return as Seattle’s starter for Week 3 against the Commanders.

During Darnold's absence, Drew Lock has led the team to two wins.Last week against Arizona, Lock threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerging as his primary target. Seattle takes on Washington this week, which has allowed the sixth-most points this season.

Kyler Murray, Vikings - Concussion

Murray has fully cleared the NFL concussion protocol after missing Week 2 against the Bears. Head coach Kevin O’Connell named Murray the starter for Week 3 against the Buccaneers.

Murray's return adds some uncertainty to the Vikings' offense after he played just 11 snaps before suffering the concussion. Minnesota faces Tampa Bay in Week 3 after the Buccaneers allowed 33 and 23 points in their first two games.
