Hunter Greene - Cincinnati Reds
Greene has left spring training due to right elbow stiffness. He will undergo an MRI in Cincinnati and be evaluated by team orthopedic consultant Dr. Timothy Kremchek, with an additional consultation planned with Dodgers team physician Dr. Neal ElAttrache.
Jeremy Peña - Houston Astros
Peña was diagnosed with a fracture in the tip of his right ring finger and will be reevaluated in two weeks. He will miss the World Baseball Classic after the injury was confirmed by a hand specialist on Thursday.
Blake Snell - Los Angeles Dodgers
According to Manager Dave Roberts, Snell is not expected to be ready for Opening Day, putting the chances of Snell being on the Dodgers rotation at "probably zero.” Snell is dealing with lingering shoulder discomfort that placed him on the IL for four months last season.
Josh Jung - Texas Rangers
Jung is expected to be sidelined for approximately 10 days due to an adductor strain. Barring a setback Jung is expected to be ready for Opening Day.
Cody Bellinger - New York Yankees
Bellinger returned to the Yankees lineup after missing a few games with a stiff back.
Francisco Lindor - New York Mets
Lindor played catch Monday and is expected to participate in defensive drills and other baseball activities as he continues his recovery. Lindor told reporters he thinks he can make it back and play on Opening Day.
Corbin Carroll - Arizona Diamondbacks
Carroll fractured his right hamate bone on Feb. 10 and underwent surgery the next day, initially putting his status for the March 26 opener at Dodger Stadium in doubt. Carroll said he had begun swinging the bat with both hands. Signs point to a potential Opening Day availability.
Rafael Devers - San Francisco Giants
Devers was scratched from Friday's lineup at first base due to left hamstring tightness. Giants are staying cautious with Devers and will keep him sidelined for a few more days.
Stephen Kolek - Kansas City Royals
Kolek was diagnosed Friday with a Grade 1+ left oblique strain following additional imaging to determine the severity. He will be shut down for at least a week, with the remainder of his timeline dependent on how he responds to rest and recovery.
Jurickson Profar - Atlanta Braves
Profar has been suspended for the entire 2026 season after testing positive for PED's for the 2nd time in his career.
Brendan Rodgers - Boston Red Sox
Rodgers is likely to undergo surgery after sustaining a shoulder injury on Feb. 25. Manager Alex Cora said Rodgers did not receive encouraging results from recent MRI and CT scans and will seek a second opinion. Rodgers was competing for the starting second base job this spring.
Gavin Stone - Los Angeles Dodgers
Stone will be shut down from throwing for the next couple of weeks due to discomfort in his throwing shoulder. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said a recent scan revealed inflammation but no structural damage. The 27-year-old did not pitch last season after undergoing shoulder surgery on Oct. 9, 2024.
