Suffered a chip fracture to his left wrist when hit-by-pitch on June 18, he will be placed on the 10-day IL and will not return until after the All-star break.

Exited Wednesday’s 8–1 loss to the Blue Jays after taking a 91 mph pitch off his left hand in the 8th inning. X-rays came back negative, confirming no fracture, he is day-to-day.

Has played surprisingly well despite a July 7th right shoulder subluxation - avoided recurrence throughout the postseason and hopefully will play without incident in the World Series

Our doctors assert his right shoulder is not a concern - has taken BP recently and should return prior to All Star break - left June 29th game due to right shoulder soreness
