Jakobi Meyers Injury: Patriots WR Appears to Suffer Shoulder Sprain on TD catch

New England Patriots wideout Jakobi Meyers appeared to suffer a left shoulder injury on his touchdown catch late in the win over the Dolphins.

By video, Meyers landed hard on his left shoulder and appeared to suffer a left shoulder SC joint sprain, according to the Pro Football Docs.

Depending on the severity, the 26-year-old has a chance to play next week against the Bills. He would likely require an injection to numb the pain for a game with playoff implications for New England.

Before exiting, he had 6 catches for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Meyers suffered a right shoulder AC joint sprain in Week 12 against the Vikings and played in Week 13.

He has been the leading receiving on the Patriots this season with 58 catches for 723 yards and 4 touchdowns entering Week 17.
