Despite being ahead of the expected timeline, Burrow’s return is expected, as he has been a full participant in practice this week, Burrow, despite not fully recovering from his left turf toe injury, should still be able to throw effectively from the pocket since it affects his front (left) foot, however, his mobility will be limited, and he’ll likely operate exclusively from shotgun due to the difficulty of pushing off under center, to minimize the risk of re-injury, he’ll have protection on the toe, such as a steel plate or taping.

Burrow, who was previously thought to be targeting a return to action on November 27 against the Ravens, participated fully in practice, his listed participation level is both noteworthy and encouraging, but it remains to be seen if he will be able to play this weekend against the Patriots.

Set for surgery on his Grade 3 turf toe injury, setting at minimum a 3 month timetable for recovery, which is a window of mid-December around Week 17 or 18, effectively, ending his season

With Burrow’s innovative rehab approach and a focused offseason, there’s optimism for a strong comeback.
