This Sunday the Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) are set to clash with the Dallas Cowboys (3-5) in a high-stakes NFC East battle at AT&T Stadium.
This game is pivotal for both teams, as the Eagles look to extend their divisional lead, while the Cowboys aim to keep their playoff hopes alive.
However, Dallas faces an added challenge with quarterback Dak Prescott recently sidelined due to injury, potentially impacting their offensive game plan.
The Eagles, with their balanced attack and strong defensive unit, are prepared to exploit any weaknesses as they push for another critical win. Tune in as we break down the key matchups, betting insights, and the potential impact of Prescott’s absence in this fierce rivalry.
In this article, we’ll break down the most impactful injuries and how they will affect the game.
On the offense RB Saquon Barkley is dealing with back tightness but will be fine on Sunday, AJ Brown is nursing a knee injury and will need to monitor reports for status but we lean towards him playing, TE Dallas Goedert will return from hamstring issue, LT Jordan Mailata will miss one more week and eligible to return from IR next week if healthy.
On the defense CB Darius Slay is only real injury concern as he was dealing with a groin injury however he was a FP Thursday which is a good sign after missing last week.
On the offense QB Dak Prescott will likely be placed on IR due to the significant hamstring injury sustained in Week 9. WR Ceedee Lamb will play through his AC joint shoulder injury he also sustained last week. RG Zack Martin will play through his shoulder injury.
On the defense DE Micah Parsons continues to nurse an ankle issue and has a small chance to return, he was an LP on Friday. Cornerbacks are still an issue with Daron Bland not yet back from his foot injury and Trevon Diggs dealing with a partial calf tear, he was an LP on Thursday but DNP Friday and listed as Questionable. The Cowboys secondary and pass rush have been issue for weeks but now the offense is hampered with Prescott sidelined.
