  • Grayson Rodriguez (right lat strain): Rehab paused after experiencing renewed elbow discomfort.

  • Adley Rutschman (left oblique strain) & Ryan Mountcastle (right hamstring strain): Both begin rehab assignments July 22 with Triple-A Norfolk.

Boston Red Sox

  • Tanner Houck (right flexor pronator strain): Rehab assignment halted due to recurrence; further tests pending.

Chicago White Sox

  • Shane Smith (left ankle sprain): Placed on 15-day IL retroactive to July 16.

Cleveland Guardians

  • Shane Bieber (Tommy John surgery): Next rehab start scheduled for July 22.
