Tyler O’Neill (OF) – Placed on the 10-day IL (retroactive to May 16) with a left shoulder impingement.
Colton Cowser (OF) – Recovering from a left thumb fracture; took BP on May 17 and could begin a rehab assignment soon.
Ramon Laureano (OF) - Exited the May 20 game with left ankle discomfort after getting his foot caught in the grass when fielding.
Alex Bregman (3B) - Exited the May 23 game against the Orioles with a right quad strain, added to the 10-day injured list on May 24.
Walker Buehler (RHP) – Coming back from shoulder inflammation; started May 20 vs. Mets, throwing 52 pitches.

Hayden Wesneski (RHP) – Set for season-ending Tommy John surgery on his right elbow.
Jonathan India (2B) – Scratched May 18 due to right knee soreness after a hard slide.
Cole Ragans (LHP) – Placed on the 15-day IL (left groin strain) on May 17.
Seth Lugo (RHP) – Also placed on the 15-day IL May 17 (retroactive to May 14) with a third finger sprain.
Mike Trout (OF) - Progressing in his recovery from a left knee bone bruise, he is running and doing agility drills.

Corey Seager (SS) - Progressing through recovery from a hamstring strain, faced live pitching on May 24 and expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list on May 26.
Evan Carter (OF) – Grade 2 right quad strain. Placed on 10-day IL May 18.
Anthony Santander (Left Hip Inflammation): Exited the May 21 game against the Padres after re-aggravating a lingering hip issue. He admitted playing at less than full strength prior to the game and will be evaluated further day-to-day.
Max Scherzer (Right Thumb Inflammation): Will throw one or two more bullpen sessions before advancing to live batting practice. His return timeline remains uncertain, though progress is being made.

Aaron Nola (RHP) – Placed on 15-day IL May 16 with a right ankle sprain. First IL stint due to injury since 2017. Progressing through recovery, aiming to throw off a mound during the current series.
Colin Holderman (P) - placed on the 15-day IL on May 20 with right thumb inflammation.
Jared Jones (RHP) - underwent season-ending surgery for a UCL repair.
Joe Musgrove (RHP) – Recovering from Tommy John surgery. Will throw from 90 feet the week of May 19.
Justin Verlander (SP) - The Giants will place Justin Verlander on the injured list with pectoral soreness that affected his velocity and command in Sunday’s start, where he walked five and averaged just 91.3 mph on his fastball. Verlander, who remains winless through 10 starts despite a 4.33 ERA, had been dealing with the issue quietly before informing the team.
