Injuries continue to challenge several MLB teams as they make their final push toward the postseason. Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of the latest updates on significant player injuries across the league.
Lindor remains out with back tightness for the seventh consecutive game. Senga’s season is over due to right triceps tightness experienced in a rehab start, despite the pitcher downplaying the severity.
Alvarez exited Sunday’s game with a right knee contusion. McCormick is recovering from a fractured hand but may resume batting soon. Scott was placed on the IL with a thoracic spine strain.
Moreno left Sunday’s game with left adductor tightness, the same injury that sidelined him in August. Kelly left his last start with a right calf cramp.
Muncy was scratched due to general soreness. Gonsolin, recovering from Tommy John surgery, made his third rehab start, and his return is yet to be determined.
