Here the Return Timeline for Aaron Judge's Toe Injury

With star slugger Aaron Judge on the 10-day IL and their most recent game postponed due to heavy smoke from Canadian wildfires, the Yankees currently have a lot on their plate.

Judge is recovering from a toe contusion and a ligament sprain and recently underwent a PRP injection.

Given that PRP injections typically take at least two weeks to take effect, that means Judge will miss at least the two upcoming series against the Red Sox, according to the Pro Baseball Docs.

The best case would have Judge back in the lineup during the third week of June, in time to face the Mariners or Rangers during the next home stand.

He is eligible to return after the 15th, but his foot will not be fully healed by then.

New York could opt to activate him before he’s 100% ready and use him for pinch hit assignments.

Until then, Bill McKinney has taken Judge’s spot on the roster.

The 31-year-old former MVP also hit the IL in late April with a right hip injury.

Judge returned after missing just 10 games and picked up where he left off.

In 23 games since returning from his hip ailment, Judge hit .325 with 13 home runs, 26 RBIs and 5 doubles.

On the season he’s hitting .291 with 19 home runs in 49 games.

New York Yankees 2023 World Series Odds

The Yankees currently have the fifth-best odds to win the World Series at +1000, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Sitting at 36-26 (8 games back from the Rays), New York is +460 to win the division.
