Christian Watson Injury: Packers Wideout Ruled Out With Hip Ailment

Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Christian Watson has been ruled out after suffering a hip injury on a fourth down catch late in the first half.

By video, Watson landed hard on his left hip when he was tackled by Eric Rowe on the 10-yard completion.

Watson appeared to suffer a hip contusion on the hard fall and it's unlikely he suffered structural damage, according to the Pro Football Docs.

If the Packers win and keep their playoff hopes alive, he could return in Week 17 for a home game against the Vikings.

Before exiting, Watson had 6 catches for 49 yards on 8 targets.
