Astros' star shortstop Jeremy Peña returned to the lineup on Tuesday after missing four games with right knee discomfort.
The standout rookie appeared to suffer the injury last Thursday, although it is unclear on exactly which motion.
His cleats were caught in the dirt in the batters box on an infield single, and he appeared to twist awkwardly while changing directions running the bases on the same play.
Peña, who was moved down to seventh in the order tonight, hit a 411-foot home run onto the Green Monster in his first at-bat, his seventh of the season.
The 24-year-old is the current favorite to win the AL Rookie of The Year at +300, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. He leads the Astros with 2.2 WAR and is second in MLB with 0.9 dWAR while batting .276 with 19 runs and 21 RBI.
