Tyler Smith Health, Injury Updates & History

Was a DNP in practice on Wednesday, he sustained an ankle injury during MNF in W11, but if he doesn't log practice time on Thursday and Friday, he won't be able to play in W12 against the Commanders

Tyler Smith dealt with lingering hamstring issues that sidelined him for Weeks 1 and 2 last season. He then went on to play 100% of the offensive snaps for Dallas in Weeks 3-15 before sustaining a plantar fascia tear that kept him out of Week 18. However, he did play in the Cowboys' lone playoff game and played the entire game. Smith is expected to start at left guard for Dallas this season.
