Pat Freiermuth's 2023 season began with a sternal contusion on September 9th, which lingered for a few weeks and hampered his gameplay. He was ruled out of the game on October 1st with a hamstring strain that kept him out for multiple weeks. This hamstring strain was aggravated on October 20th in practice, landing him on IR. He returned from IR on November 19th with no issues for the rest of the season. Freiermuth is expected to be fully healthy to begin the 2024 season, but there is always added concern due to his concussion history. In his three-year career, he has already had three documented concussions, which is worrisome. Despite this, Freiermuth is considered a sleeper in fantasy as he could become Russell Wilson's number one target in 2024.
