During the Pro Bowl last season, Garrett injured his right big toe. He expressed his retirement from the Pro Bowl out of frustration at the injury, but he should not have any limitations in training camp or the regular season. He did not require surgery for the toe. Garrett also had a shoulder injury plague him last season, but that should be remedied. In April, he stated that his shoulder has fully healed and should not pose any limitations in the upcoming season.
