Michael Penix Jr. was surprisingly drafted #8 overall by the Atlanta Falcons, despite the team signing Kirk Cousins to a significant contract. Penix had a history of four season-ending injuries in college, including two ACL tears in the same right knee. However, he played his final two seasons at Washington without any injury issues.
