Jefferson was diagnosed with a sprained left ankle following an MRI after exiting Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers, imaging ruled out any long-term concern and the Vikings are hopeful their star receiver can play against the Dolphins in Week 4, though his practice workload could be managed throughout the week

Jefferson is questionable to return to Sunday’s matchup against the Buccaneers after suffering an ankle injury in the first half, the Vikings wide receiver had two catches for 32 yards before exiting, with Minnesota likely to lean more heavily on Jordan Addison and T J Hockenson for as long as Jefferson remains sidelined

Sustained a hamstring injury in training camp at the end of July, but it's not on the same side as the one that ended his 2023 season, and it appears to be mild given the early timing in camp, as a veteran receiver for the Vikings he can afford to miss preseason reps, but the biggest concern from a season-long or fantasy perspective is the potential for aggravation later in the year given the soft tissue nature of the injury

Sustained a hamstring injury in training camp at the end of July. Good news for this injury is it’s not the same side of a past injury that saw him miss the end of the 2023. It’s also fortunate that it occurred very early in training camp and appears to be of the mild variety. Being a veteran receiver for the Vikings, he’s in a position where he can afford to miss reps in preseason as he’s already a season veteran with the team. The biggest risk for him from a season-long and/or fantasy perspective is that this is a soft tissue injury that can be aggravated later in the season.

Suffered a jammed finger in the Week 3 game against the Texans. Stayed in the game, and postgame X-rays were negative.

Is not listed on the Viking's injury report ahead of Week 3 with the quad contusion he sustained last week, we did anticipate a significant injury for Jefferson at the time so this should have minimal impact on him

Justin Jefferson suffered a hamstring injury in the 4th quarter of the Week 5 matchup against Kansas City, placing him on IR. He missed Weeks 6-12. Upon his return, he took a big hit to the ribs during Week 14 but missed no games afterward. Despite these injuries, Jefferson was still a top 20 receiver in receiving yards, accumulating 1,074 yards.
