Brooks is considered week-to-week after reaggravating the same groin injury that limited him during training camp, the Panthers running back exited against the Falcons and is seeking additional medical opinions as the team determines the severity of the setback and his recovery timeline

Enters the 2026 season fully healthy after completing his recovery from a re-torn right ACL that delayed the start of his NFL career. Brooks missed the entire 2025 season as the Panthers took a cautious approach with his rehabilitation and placed him on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list. After participating fully throughout the offseason program, he enters training camp without restrictions and positioned to compete for a significant role in Carolina's backfield.

Suffered a torn ACL in December 2024 and was placed on the PUP list in May 2025, ruling him out for the entire 2025 season

For the second straight season, Brooks has torn his right ACL, and will need surgery, he went down on a non-contact injury and will miss the rest of this season and likely part of next season as well

Just back from ACL recovery on his right knee and exited the game in the first half, worry for a reinjury but will need official tests to determine extent of injury

He might make his return in W12, and if he does, we don't expect him to be as productive as he's been in his career, Chuba Hubbard will still be the main running back for Carolina

He could have been made available for W10 but sat, with a bye week coming up for the Panthers, we expect Brooks to make his season debut in W12, however we don't believe he will be effective at first if at all this season

Officially listed as Questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants as he recovers from a torn ACL, he's set to make his season debut this week but if he does play, don't expect him at his best

Much awaited return from ACL, the top draft pick running back from Texas is ready to return but he likely won’t be 100%, in our preseason injury preview we faded him as mostly a lost year, they're certainly going to play him, it’s time to play him, but he's not going to be the primary back, ACL recovery is a very slow sunrise, not a light switch, it’s good to see him make his debut, likely this week but from a fantasy perspective, we don't know that he will be the bell cow in terms of production
