Isiah Pacheco Health, Injury Updates & History

Head coach Andy Reid said Monday that Pacheco will be available "playoff-wise" and will likely be held out of practice and the game this week, he has been dealing with a rib injury since the Christmas day game

Was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Pacheco had his 21-day evaluation window opened in Week 11, but Tuesday's practice marked the first time he was a full participant since he fractured his right ankle Sept. 15 and required surgery, logging a full practice is a good sign ahead of the Black Friday game vs the Raiders

Has been ruled out with the ankle injury he's had throughout the season and will not suit up on Sunday against the Panthers, he's practiced in a limited capacity the last two weeks but we have believed he will be out until December and this designation aligns with our analysis

We said since the beginning of the season Pacheco will be back in December, one more week of November games in W12, this is his second week of the practice window, expect another week in the practice window before he returns but Pacheco will be back for the Chiefs in December just not quite yet

Has a chance to return W12, we originally thought his return would be in December and we still feel strong about that timeline

Reported as a fractured fibula suffered Week 2, fibula is outer part of ankle which is why at first ankle reported during game, good news is likely not displaced fracture and although surgery not always done it may be in this case to speed up recovery time, likely longer than 4 game IR stint but expect him to return this season

By video, his right foot was trapped underneath him during a tackle, while there is concern for a lisfranc injury, the ankle is likely ok, this could see him miss some time

Had 24 carries for 68 yards and a touchdown in AFC Championship game - big toe injury is unlikely to affect him in the Super Bowl especially with an extra week to get healthy

Questionable with ankle/toe injuries but likely to play in AFC Championship - DNP, DNP, LP - may cede snaps to Clyde Edwards-Helaire on passing downs but otherwise should be effective running the ball - review of game film did not show significant toe or ankle injury
