By video Deebo Samuel suffered a right calf strain towards the end of the Week 2 contest, CMC is already out on injured reserve for calf/Achilles tendinitis. the good news for Deebo is this is not Achilles tendinitis, it is a calf muscle strain, the bad news is muscle injuries linger, hopefully, Deebo can avoid injured reserve but we see a multi-week absence here to prevent the calf injury lingering for the 49ers star receiver, no surgery needed, it will get better, the 49ers will be safe multiple weeks, hopefully, he can avoid injured reserve and return ahead of CMC with his calf/Achilles issue
