Has been ruled out for the Wild Card game versus the Packers.

Has entered concussion protocol and will be monitored going into their Saturday Night Wild Card game versus the Packers

Has been dealing with a knee injury which kept him limited for the first two practices of the week, he upgraded on Friday which is a good sign, currently listed as questionable for Sunday

Gardner-Johnson was carted off the field during Thursday’s practice after suffering a knee injury, tests did not reveal any ACL damage and it appears the 2019 fourth-rounder has avoided a serious injury, he will not play in any of the Texans’ preseason games while he works on being fully healthy for Week 1, further tests on his knee didn’t reveal significant damage and there is optimism that he could be available for the Texans’ regular-season opener against the Rams on Sept. 7

Is Active for Week 6 against the Browns, he will suit up for Sunday's game despite not practicing Thursday and Friday

Did not practice Thursday or Friday with a foot injury, he is listed as Questionable for this week, reports are that the injury is not a major concern, but there is jeopardy of him missing this week regardless

Briefly left game in the 3rd quarter of Week 1 game with an injury to his left index finger, it appeared to be an aggravation as his finger was already taped when his glove was removed, but he returned to the game so likely a minor issue

C.J. Gardner-Johnson suffered a torn pectoral muscle in Week 2 of the 2023 season, limiting him to just three regular-season games. He played all three of the Lions' playoff games, including recording an interception against the Buccaneers. Gardner-Johnson returned to Philadelphia in the offseason with no lingering injury issues.
