Enters the 2026 season fully healthy after sustaining a right MCL sprain in Week 4 against the Steelers. O'Neill avoided surgery, returned during the 2025 season, and finished with 14 appearances. After participating fully during mandatory minicamp, he enters training camp without restrictions as Minnesota's starting right tackle, with the injury viewed as an isolated issue rather than a lingering concern.

Brian O'Neill returned in 2023 from a partially torn Achilles suffered in Week 17 the previous season. He sustained an ankle injury during Week 14 that caused him to miss three of the last four regular season games. O'Neill is a highly rated offensive tackle and is expected to be a leader for an offense that will feature a new starting QB and starting RB.
