Alvin Kamara Health, Injury Updates & History

Remains questionable for Week 1 after an MCL injury.

Kamara is expected to miss at least the next month after suffering an MCL sprain, putting the veteran running back's availability for the beginning of the regular season in question

Enters the 2026 season recovering from the Grade 2 MCL sprain and ankle issues that limited him throughout the 2025 campaign. Kamara missed the final six games and posted career-low production while managing the lingering injuries. After returning to limited work during mandatory minicamp, he enters training camp with his workload being monitored as he transitions into a complementary role alongside Travis Etienne.
