New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave sustained a likely concussion during the first quarter against divisional rival the Carolina Panthers in Week 9. Olave has been carted off the field and will be evaluated for a concussion. He will not return today.
Olave does have a past concussion history with concussions suffered in College Football in October 2020, then with the Saints in October 2022, November 2023 and most recently on 14 October 2024.
Olave was also evaluated for a concussion vs. the Chargers last week but was cleared to return to the game.
Given his history with concussions, his availability for Week 10 will be in doubt, possibly longer and there is a chance of IR.
Olave recently said that he considered wearing a Guardian Cap after the week 6 concussion however he is yet to wear the padded cap in an NFL game.
Stay tuned for updates on Chris Olave.
