As we wrap up Week 13 tonight and look towards Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season, we had some several teams are struggling with key injuries that may impact upcoming games. Unlikely to play next week after sustaining a concussion on a late hit on a slide where he exhibited posturing in his right arm and right leg, visually looks bad and added to the concern for Lawrence, this is his second documented concussion.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday that the PCL injury Christian McCaffrey sustained on SNF in Week 13 could be season ending, only because of how late in the season it happened, if no playoff chase, he shouldn't play, we believe it could be a Grade 1 sprain, he may have sustained the injury on a shoestring tackle attempt where he fell directly on his right knee, he tried to continue after that play but was unable to and it appeared he injured himself on that play, but it was the shoestring the play prior, he will continue to be tested for a more official diagnosis but McCaffrey will miss some time.
Placed on IR with a high ankle injury sustained in W13 in Buffalo, he will miss at least the next four games while Christian McCaffrey will also miss time with a PCL injury, this could severely hamper the 49ers chances of making the playoffs and that could determine the course of action for their return
Should be close to returning from the hamstring injury he's been managing and should be available for the Eagles next game in Week 14 against the Panthers.
Sustained a knee injury in Sunday's game in W13, but we didn't see anything significant, he's had a ton of usage so he's taking a lot of hits but we expect him to be available for the next game
May have sustained a PCL injury, likely not season-ending because the Eagles are likely a playoff team and he should be back by then, similar PCL to McCaffrey but he has a lower usage than McCaffrey.
Confirmed on Monday that Hill does have a torn ACL among other damage, ending his 2024 season.
