Saturday, May 9th

Tyler Glasnow - Los Angeles Dodgers

Glasnow has been placed on the injured list with back spasms after exiting his Wednesday start against Houston. The Dodgers expect his IL stint to be minimal, and manager Dave Roberts said an MRI showed “nothing really significant.”

Friday, May 8th

Blake Snell - Los Angeles Dodgers

Snell will come off the injured list and start for the Dodgers on Saturday. Snell began the season on the IL with lingering left shoulder fatigue but has completed three minor league rehab starts.

Mookie Betts - Los Angeles Dodgers

Betts is expected to begin a rehab assignment Friday with Triple-A Oklahoma City as he works back from a right oblique strain. Betts is scheduled to play Friday and Saturday, putting him on track to return to the Dodgers as soon as next week. He has been on the injured list since April 5.

Jasson Domínguez - New York Yankees

Domínguez is expected to miss a few weeks after spraining the AC joint in his left shoulder on Thursday. Domínguez will be placed on the injured list after crashing into the video advertising board in left field at Yankee Stadium while making a catch, manager Aaron Boone said.

Travis d'Arnaud - Los Angeles Angels

d’Arnaud has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right foot plantar fasciitis. The Angels are now without both catchers, with Logan O’Hoppe also on the 10-day IL because of a small left wrist fracture suffered April 25.

Thursday, May 7th

Roman Anthony - Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox placed Roman Anthony on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a sprained right wrist. Anthony injured the wrist during Monday’s game in Detroit, and interim manager Chad Tracy said he had not progressed enough to avoid an IL stint.

Ryan Weathers - New York Yankees

Weathers will not make his scheduled start on Thursday against the Rangers after dealing with a virus following his last outing. Weathers said he felt ill during his previous start, later vomited for several hours, had a fever reach 102 degrees, and lost nine pounds over two days.

Cole Ragans - Kansas City Royals

Ragans exited Wednesday’s start against Cleveland after three scoreless innings with left triceps and elbow soreness. He has been diagnosed with valgus extension overload in his elbow. The Royals left-hander will rest for a few days before being reevaluated, with next steps still to be determined.

Max Scherzer - Toronto Blue Jays

Scherzer remains on the injured list with left ankle inflammation and right forearm tendinitis. The 41-year-old said his forearm is preventing him from ramping up as planned, and he will consult doctors before taking the next step in his rehab.

Logan Webb - San Francisco Giants

Webb exited Tuesday’s start against the Padres after four innings because of knee discomfort. Webb said he has been dealing with the issue for “a little bit,” though he did not blame it for his rough outing in the Giants’ 10-5 loss.

Luis Campusano - San Diego Padres

Campusano was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left toe fracture.

Wednesday, May 6th

Carlos Correa - Houston Astros

Correa will miss the rest of the 2026 season after tearing a tendon in his ankle. He told reporters he will undergo surgery soon and is expected to be out six to eight months.

Tyler Glasnow - Los Angeles Dodgers

Glasnow exited Tuesday’s start against the Astros before the second inning with low back pain. He said he has dealt with this type of pain since high school and isn't sure if he'll be able to make his next start, but doesn't believe that this will keep him out for long.

Matthew Boyd - Chicago Cubs

Boyd injured his left meniscus while playing with his kids at home Wednesday morning. The 35-year-old will undergo surgery and is out indefinitely, though the team expects him to return this season.

Emilio Pagan - Cincinnati Reds

Pagan will be placed on the injured list with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain. Pagan grabbed the back of his leg after throwing his first pitch of the ninth inning Tuesday against the Cubs and was later carted off.

Steven Matz - Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays placed left-hander Steven Matz on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with left elbow inflammation. Initial imaging showed no structural damage, and the team believes he avoided a more serious injury.

Noah Cameron - Kansas City Royals

Cameron was scratched from Tuesday’s start against the Guardians with low back tightness, but the Royals do not expect him to miss much time. Cameron said he could have pitched through it, but the team chose to be cautious early in the season.

Tuesday, May 5th

Roman Anthony - Boston Red Sox

Anthony returned to Boston to have his right hand examined after exiting Monday’s win over the Tigers with wrist discomfort. Imaging came back negative. Anthony is day-to-day with a wrist sprain and is expected to miss the next couple of days. The Red Sox are not placing him on the injured list at this point.

Raisel Iglesias - Atlanta Braves

Iglesias returned from the injured list on Tuesday. He had been out since April 21 with right shoulder discomfort, but an MRI showed no structural damage.

Yainer Diaz - Houston Astros

Diaz will be placed on the injured list with a left oblique injury suffered during batting practice before Monday’s loss to the Dodgers. Astros manager Joe Espada said Diaz will “require some IL time.”

Jhoan Duran - Philadelphia Phillies

Duran is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list and return to the bullpen Tuesday night, interim manager Don Mattingly said.

Jake Cronenworth - San Diego Padres

The Padres placed Cronenworth on the seven-day injured list Tuesday after experiencing concussion symptoms, the team announced.

Monday, May 4th

Tarik Skubal - Detroit Tigers

Detroit Tigers ace Tarik Skubal will undergo arthroscopic surgery to remove loose bodies from his left elbow. Manager A.J. Hinch did not give an official return timetable, but this type of procedure typically sidelines pitchers for two to three months.

Ranger Suarez - Boston Red Sox

Suarez exited with right hamstring tightness and will not travel with the Red Sox for their upcoming three-game series in Detroit. Suarez had a right hamstring injury in 2023 but said this issue feels different.

Jhoan Duran - Philadelphia Phillies

Duran is nearing a return from a strained left oblique after touching 100 mph in a bullpen session Saturday. The Phillies are deciding whether he needs a rehab appearance, though Duran and interim manager Don Mattingly appear to be leaning against one.

Cal Raleigh - Seattle Mariners

Raleigh is out of the Mariners’ lineup for a third straight game with right-side soreness. He was a late scratch Saturday, underwent an MRI and is awaiting results, but said he is “playing it safe” on the advice of the training staff.

Sunday, May 3rd

Ronald Acuña Jr. - Atlanta Braves

The Braves placed Acuña Jr. on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. Manager Walt Weiss said the MRI results “could have been a lot worse” all things considered.

Cal Raleigh - Seattle Mariners

Raleigh was out of the Mariners’ lineup for a second straight day on Sunday with lingering right-side pain. Seattle has not placed him on the injured list while awaiting imaging results after Raleigh first felt the issue following Friday’s game.

Joe Ryan - Minnesota Twins

Ryan left Sunday’s start against the Blue Jays with elbow soreness after facing just two batters. Ryan struck out the leadoff hitter, walked the next batter and then signaled to the dugout before exiting.

Ben Rice - New York Yankees

Rice exited with a left hand injury after a pickoff play. The Yankees first baseman went 2-for-2 with a double and solo home run before being replaced by Paul Goldschmidt.

Ronny Mauricio - New York Mets

Serving as Francisco Lindor's backup while he is on the IL, Mauricio was placed on the IL with a fractured left thumb. Mauricio had been starting nearly every day at shortstop.
