The Red Sox placed Roman Anthony on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a sprained right wrist.

Anthony returned to Boston to have his right hand examined after exiting Monday’s win over the Tigers with wrist discomfort. Imaging came back negative. Anthony is day-to-day with a wrist sprain and is expected to miss the next couple of days. The Red Sox are not placing him on the injured list at this point.
