Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid returned for Game 4 against the Boston Celtics on Sunday, 2 1/2 weeks after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.
Embiid was upgraded to questionable before the game, and the team announced shortly before tipoff that he was available. He finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes.
Boston won to take a 3-1 lead in the series.
Embiid appeared in 38 games during the regular season, averaging 26.9 points and 7.7 rebounds.
