Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson has been dealing with shoulder soreness in off-season workouts and OTA's. Richardson underwent shoulder surgery after he suffered a severe AC joint sprain during a game, following a hit by Titans edge rusher Harold Landry.
Our panel of Pro Football Docs maintains that Richardson will be fine for the beginning of training camp and the season. The shoulder soreness is unrelated to his AC joint injury. The shoulder soreness comes from throwing a football and culmination of offseason activities after months of inactivity.
Both Richardson and Head Coach Shane Steichen agree with our injury analysis, “Everything’s been smooth sailing so far and luckily, it was the last day. So, we're not too worried about it and we're just trying to keep it going," Richardson said.
"Rest assured if we played on Sunday he’d be starting,” Steichen told the media last week.
