Jones did not miss any games because of injury last season despite suffering a high ankle sprain and a concussion. He has been relatively durable for a mobile quarterback and concussions are the only concern going forward.
Barkley was dominant in his second year back from his ACL injury, racking up 1,312 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. Expect another durable year for the sixth year running back now that the contract dispute has been resolved.
Still recovering from the left knee ACL tear he suffered in September last season, but should be a more reliable recovery than the Achilles tear he suffered in 2021. Expect him to begin looking like himself in the second half of the season.
Robinson is a few months behind Shepard in his recovery, considering he tore the ACL in his right knee in November last season. He’s also a shiftier wideout who relies on route running, thus his production will suffer more until he can get back near 100%. That may happen late this season but it’s more likely he doesn’t look like his pre-injury self until the beginning of the 2024 season. He is currently on the PUP list.
Waller faced several injuries over the past two seasons, missing six games due to knee and ankle injuries in 2021 and nine games due to a hamstring injury in 2022. During his limited time on the field last season, his explosiveness appeared diminished, as evidenced by a career-low 2.8 YAC (yards after catch). However, he should be fully healthy heading into the 2023 season and has an opportunity to bounce back under a new system led by Brain Daboll.
The former Lions linebacker suffered a torn ACL during OTAs and will miss the 2023 season. Davis was slated to be the starting right inside linebacker and New York will likely split time between Darrian Beavers and Micah McFadden to make up for his loss.
The former Rams defensive tackle missed the final seven games of the season with a torn meniscus that required surgery. His surgery took place in late November, thus he should be ready for training camp and Week 1.
He logged 42 tackles in 10 games last season.
