Zach Ertz Injury: Cardinals Tight End Done For Season With Knee Tear

Update: Zach Ertz will reportedly miss the rest of the season with an unspecified knee injury. Trey McBride will likely start at tight end next Monday against the 49ers.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz suffered a knee injury in the first quarter against the Rams and was carted to the locker room.

By video, the Pro Football Docs did not see anything immediately clear to determine the severity of his knee ailment.

Ertz was injured on his only catch of the game, a 12-yard catch.

The 32-year-old tight end has 46 catches for 394 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Rookie Trey McBride could see more opportunities with Ertz out.

The Cardinals face the 49ers on Monday night in Week 11.
