Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was ruled out after undergoing a concussion evaluation against the Steelers.
By video, Mixon's last carry came with just over eight minutes remaining in the second quarter.
The sixth-year running back appeared to hit his head on the ground when he was tackled on a 7-yard carry.
He ran to the sideline and asked to be replaced by backup Samaje Perine.
Mixon had 7 rushes for 20 yards, plus 3 catches for 42 yards before leaving.
He has 605 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns this year to go along with 38 catches for 272 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Bengals head to Tennessee and are likely to be without Mixon. Through Week 9, only 22.8% of players have cleared concussion protocol to play in the next week's game.
