Bills star free safety Jordan Poyer reportedly suffered a hyperextended left elbow injury near the end of practice Tuesday.
Poyer will miss a few weeks with the injury, but will be back ahead of Week 1, according to the Pro Football Docs.
No video of the injury was immediately available, but there was video of him walking to the tunnel with trainers.
While Poyer's elbow injury isn't ideal, the timing will have him back before the NFL season kicks off with Buffalo's matchup against the Rams on September 8.
Buffalo's top corner Tre'Davious White is making his way back from an ACL injury. The Pro Football Docs detailed his return timeline in mid-July.
Poyer's safety partner Micah Hyde left practice last Friday with an apparently minor right leg injury. He was back at practice on Monday.
