Stewart was a full participant in Wednesday's practice as he continues working back from the knee hyperextension he suffered late in July, the Bengals defensive end has made steady progress throughout his rehab and appears on track to be available for Sunday's season opener against the Buccaneers

Stewart suffered a significant right knee injury during practice and was carted off the field after a hyperextension mechanism. According to Pro Football Doc, the injury is concerning for multiple ligament tears, raising the possibility of a season-ending injury. There is also concern for associated nerve damage, which can occur with severe knee hyperextension injuries. Stewart will undergo further imaging and evaluation to determine the full extent of the damage and whether surgery will be required.

Participated fully in mandatory minicamp with no reported limitations after recovering from a left PCL injury and ankle injury and is expected to be a full participant for training camp, though his left knee explosiveness will be worth monitoring.
