Melton dealt with a heel injury that cost him four straight games in December, first popping up as a practice limitation before sidelining him for multiple contests, and even after returning in Week 17 the team held him out of the finale as a coach's decision while he continued managing it. Outside that stretch, Melton had otherwise been durable, playing all 17 games as a rookie in 2024 before the heel issue interrupted his second-season workload. There's no indication it lingered beyond the year, and with no other significant health concerns on his record, there isn't a major cause for concern entering 2026.
