Jackson had a difficult start to his Chargers career after needing offseason surgery to remove an extra bone in his ankle before 2022. He then suffered a ruptured patella tendon in Week 7 which cut his season incredibly short. The Chargers believe that he is now on the right track to be useful in 2023 but the amount and variety of injuries will hold him back yet again from having a strong start to the season.
