Brian Branch had an ankle issue that kept him out of Weeks 5 and 6 last season. He underwent an offseason "cleanup" surgery that kept him out of OTAs and minicamp. He is currently on the PUP list to start training camp but is expected to be ready for Week 1 of the upcoming season. Paired with Kerby Joseph, the duo formed a potent defensive backfield with 7 interceptions between them last season.
