Will Jimmy Garoppolo Be Healthy for Start of Training Camp?

Jimmy Garoppolo amassed a 40-17 (.702) record as a starter in his NFL career while leading the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl. But he’s only played 16 games one time in his NFL career. Last season his year ended after suffering broken bones in his foot in week 13.

Nevertheless, on Monday, Garoppolo signed a three-year, $67.5 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders. He’s reuniting with former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who is now the head coach of the Raiders.

According to the Pro Football Docs, Garoppolo is expected to be fully healthy heading into training camp. By having familiarity with the offense from his time under McDaniels in New England, Garoppolo shouldn't have to overextend himself to learn the playbook.
