Will Chargers Have Key WRs Allen, Williams vs Chiefs?

The Chargers listed starting wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams as questionable for their divisional contest with the Chiefs after each was a full-go at practice Friday.

The Pro Football Docs expect Allen, SIC score 80, to play through his lingering hamstring issue at less than 100% while Williams, SIC score 68, is more likely to miss the contest or be ineffective.

There is a stronger chance that both Allen and Williams will miss the game than there is that both will play, according to the Pro Football Docs, who contend that neither would play in Week 11 if the game didn't carry major playoff implications.

In the last two games without both standout receivers, Justin Herbert has 441 passing yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions on 5.65 yards per attempt and the Chargers have scored 36 total points.

His performance is down across the board from the first seven games with Mike Williams, during which Herbert had 12 touchdowns and four interceptions on a 6.52 average.

The 27-year-old has 37 receptions for 495 yards and three touchdowns on 59 targets. Four other players – Austin Ekeler, Josh Palmer, Gerald Everett, and DeAndre Carter – have at least 28 receptions, 340 yards, and one touchdown.
