Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss the 2025 NBA All-Star Game due to a lingering left calf strain that has sidelined him since February 2. This marks the second straight season the two-time MVP has dealt with a similar injury, which also kept him out of the Bucks' final regular-season games and playoffs last year.
Antetokounmpo, a nine-time All-Star, was originally selected for Team Chuck. In his absence, Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young will take his place.
Despite the setback, our panel of Pro Docs believe the Bucks are being cautious with their superstar and expects him to return after the All-Star break. He’s been dominant this season, ranking second in the NBA with 31.8 points per game and fifth in rebounds at 12.2 per game.
