The Utah Utes will visit the 12th-ranked team in the nation on Saturday. The Utes are a physical team and will test Oregon will at the line of scrimmage. But, a hit to their depth at running back could cost them a chance to play in the Pac-12 championship.
Ja’Quinden Jackson rushed for 97 yards on 13 attempts against Arizona. It was the most attempts and yards Jackson has had all season. But on the 13th carry of the game for Jackson, he suffered an upper-body injury that kept him out the remainder of the game. He missed the team game last Saturday against Stanford.
This week Jackson is listed as questionable to play against Oregon.
Jaylon Glover rushed for 69 yards on eight attempts against Arizona. He averaged a blistering 8.6 yards per carry, which was his highest of the season. Glover suffered a lower-body injury that kept him out the following week. He is listed as questionable to play this week against Oregon.
Defensive lineman Dan Fillinger has seemingly suffered a season-ending lower leg injury. Head coach Kyle Whittingham nor Fillinger has gone into detail about the injury.
Oregon is favored by 3 points at home against Utah, and the over/under is 62.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
