USC Injury update: How will a return from USC injured players affect the Pac-12 championship?

USC has the chance to make the college football playoff (CFB) in its first season under Lincoln Riley. The Trojans are the fourth-ranked team in college football, which makes them the last seed in the CFB.

The team will face Utah in the Pac-12 championship on Saturday, the only team that beat them this season. In that game, the Trojans faced multiple injuries to key players. But luckily, the team plans to have most of them available this week for its revenge.

Linebacker Eric Gentry went out in the team's last game versus Utah with an ankle injury. He hasn't been 100% since playing that game. But last week, he played the most snaps since the ankle injury. USC head coach Lincoln Riley spoke to the media this week about Gentry: "He came in and played some good snaps. He was still a little rusty but made a couple of plays like he tends to do. … We expect he'll be quite a bit better this week."

Wide receivers Jordan Addison and Mario Williams went out with an injury in the Utah game. Before Addison suffered the injury in the Utah game, he had seven catches for 106 yards and one touchdown. Addison has played USC's last three games and has accumulated 15 catches for 225 yards and one touchdown.

Before Williams suffered the injury in the Utah game, he had four catches for 145 yards. He has returned to the team's last two games but hasn't looked 100%. He's accumulated five catches for 52 yards.

USC has found a running game after star running back Travis Dye's season-ending injury. They have leaned on Austin Jones to carry the load. In the team's last game versus Notre Dame, he had 154 yards on 25 carries.

Utah vs. USC Week 14 Odds
