Travis Hunter underwent successful surgery to repair an isolated lateral collateral ligament injury in his right knee, the team announced. Doctors found no additional damage beyond the LCL. Hunter will miss the remainder of the 2025 season but is expected to return to full football activities within six months.

According to Pro Football Doc, isolated LCL repairs are rare, particularly when the injury occurs in practice. While the procedure itself carries a strong prognosis, the timeline ensures Hunter鈥檚 season is over.

Hunter was injured during practice and placed on injured reserve Oct. 31. The two-way standout has been a major contributor on both sides of the ball, recording 28 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown on offense, along with 15 tackles and four pass deflections on defense.
