I think Aaron Rodgers is completely donezo, and Pittsburgh's offensive performance through two weeks hasn't given us much reason to think otherwise.
The Steelers are averaging just 11.5 points and fewer than 300 yards per game, while Rodgers has yet to complete a pass traveling more than 20 yards in the air. Pittsburgh is also converting only 20% of its third downs.
They face an improved Cincinnati defense that held Houston to six points last week and pressured C.J. Stroud on 43.5% of his dropbacks.
The offensive injuries only strengthen the under. Pittsburgh WR Michael Pittman Jr. is dealing with a foot injury after missing last week, while RB Rico Dowdle has missed practice with a toe injury and RB Jaylen Warren has been limited by a shoulder issue. Cincinnati will also be without WR Andrei Iosivas, who is headed to IR following thumb surgery.
On the other side, Pittsburgh still has a capable defense and pass rush that should prevent Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and the Bengals offense from completely taking over this game.
In general, we like playing unders when the road team is favored, and this matchup fits that profile. Cincinnati is laying 3.5 on the road with the total sitting at 42.5.
We don't trust Pittsburgh to contribute enough offensively, while its defense should do enough to keep Cincinnati from turning this into a shootout.
