Stephen Curry to Miss Time with Knee Sprain

Golden State Warriors superstar guard, Steph Curry, suffered a knee sprain and will miss Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Curry was injured during the Warriors 116-110 loss against the Timberwolves on 11/12. It happened during the second half of the game as Curry landed awkwardly after a layup attempt.

Our doctors do not see any ligament damage or a meniscus tear, so it appears to be a short-term injury. However, Curry will likely miss multiple games including the Warriors next game on Thursday against the Oklahoma Thunder.

Curry has played in 11 games this season and is averaging 30.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 48.8% from the field and 44.6% from the three-point range.
